The Haven automatic fire safety device is a 5-year set-and-forget fire safety device for your loved ones. The Haven provides a safe haven for you and your family by automatically discharging a heat-activated MSDS-safe super-fine mix of eco friendly ABC dry chem at operating temperatures of 135 degrees Fahrenheit - 57 Celcius. Painstakingly engineered and re-engineered to be easily and discreetly installed in most ceiling cavities (recommended for egress areas such as bedrooms, hallways and all paths out of the home). Additional units can be installed for added protection in areas such as kitchens, playrooms, garages, hunting camps and anywhere you want added automatic, protection. Tested and proven to provide effective suppression into a 10′ x 10′ area by suppressing flame and fire providing life-saving time for egress.

My office ceiling is concrete, which makes it difficult to mount this great product externally. I wish there was an external mounting solution available.

What a product. This suppressor is Heat activated. And at a Very useful 135f degrees. I have the fire and actually flame activated Fire Balls but wanted something that was out of the way and activated by heat build-up in the room. Bought two of these after seeing the series of YouTube videos on how they activate and the torrent of fire suppressing powder they disburse. When they arrived, each in their separate box via UPS, one of them had been crushed and the disbursement diffuser head was cracked and pieces broken. Disappointing. So, I called Haven direct. In only a few rings they answered the phone. Nice to hear that in this day. I explained what happened, and this fellow completely understood. I'm a mechanical engineer and so he offered to send me a new replacement head if I wanted to install it myself. He walked me through the simple process, and so I said "sure!" Part arrived FedEx in three days. I installed both of these in less than one hour. (Now that I've done this, I could do two in about 15 minutes.) What I especially like about this company is they are not only headquartered here in the USA, but they are built, warehoused, sold and serviced right out of Brooklyn. Nice to see this type of quality back in these kinds of products. And the person I talked to in service support was knowledgeable and able to care for my situation. Well done Haven. I can recommend these to anyone.
